Napolitan Pizza School was founded in Cape Coral, Florida in 2015, by Thor with the goal of promoting the art of German baking and the tradition of Neapolitan pizza. Mr. Stein's culinary journey began in 1991, when he trained as a chef at the prestigious 5 Star - Steigenberger "Mannheimer Hof" hotel in Mannheim, Germany.
In 2003, he was awarded Best Baker and Bakery by Germany’s top food magazines, "Schrot und Korn" and
"Der Feinschmecker." With a deep passion for dough, Mr. Stein sought to master the secrets of neapolitan pizza and become an expert in the craft. He trained under two Master Pizzaiolos from Italy, to learn the intricacies of authentic neapolitan pizza.
After successfully operating a bakery, food trucks, and a restaurant in Cape Coral and crating what we know today the Southwest Florida food truck scene with his friend Scott (Nosh Truck) as the fist one to operate Foodtrucks in SWFL, with organizing food truck rallies and events, he decided to make a shift.
Inspired by his extensive experience, he opened the Neapolitan Pizza School, where he shares his knowledge of dough, authentic Neapolitan pizza, and traditional German baked goods.
The school is designed to prepare students to bake the best pizzas and breads for family and friends or to start their own food business or restaurant.
